Hi all:

Just find out Butterfly latest release notice that there is a new release of blade for Harimoto.

(Not sure if it's a innerforce super-zlc or not?)

https://www.butterfly.co.jp/news/product/20181003.html

They even come clean saying the spoiler is capitalizing on Harimoto's playing at this World Cup.

Innerforce Super ZLC does seem like a bit of contradiction:

"I want a blade with the most expensive super carbon, something that's fast like grease lightning and gives my blade a sweet spot the size of texas...BUT... I am a bit afraid that I won't be able to control a carbon blade this super so let's keep the carbon hidden away."

Any pros in top50 use super ZLC? I read that Jun Mizutani played with his super zlc for a very short period and then he goes back to his Mizutani ZLC.

I don't like Harimoto but I'm happy he's getting them royalty checks. He's certainly earned it.

Harimoto is using Innerforce Layer ALC with Zhang jike ALC handle. I have borrowed his blade and hold it in my hand. He has sanded his blade both wing smoothly. I chatted with him as well, he will only change his blade every 3 years. Not like what most of you mentioned Super ZLC, please don't create confusion without seeing that blade yourself.

Please forgive my ignorance....   what is the difference between ZLC and Super ZLC?   Different grade of Zylon?

Back to topic:
I remember my friend bought Innerforce Layer ALC because Harimoto is using it.  I think it is an upgrade of Korbel (Korbel with steroid).  Price is already quite expensive.  I don't know how much more BTY will charge us for Harimoto signature blade (even though it is basically the same blade).  Or it could be different blade designed exclusively for Harimoto.  Hmmmm.....
Blade : Just wood
FH : black rubber
BH : red rubber

Hi,

I promise that the Harimoto blade series will be expensive.  Butterfly's strategy for the superstars is to charge the highest prices.  Do not, prior to his blade release, squirm in anxiety over the uncertainty of the pricing spectrum of Harimoto's blades.  Instead, proceed with the greatest confidence in predicting this future.  Do what you need to do: switch the dog food from canned to dry; let's the cats outside more to feed off of nature, not in your Kutchen; realize that cereal is a fine dinner all by itself for you, if not also for your entire family.  Do what ever you must do.

Thanks,

The title of the post sounds like it's long overdue with the word 'finally', and the guy is only on the world stage for a couple of years, and not even 16 years old yet. I don't know how much it will cost, but I won't trade for it with my Michael Maze .

The size is one difference.. Harimoto blades are 158 x 152 and Innerforce Series are 157 x 150.

I dont understand the butterfly pricing policy. It's curious  that some pricesdiffer too much from Europe; for instance, Japanese Viscaria is way more expensive there. It almost doubles the price tag. It's even more expensive than Innerforce ZLC.  OTOH, Innerforce ALC/ Harimoto cost the same here  but HT is 3000¥ more expensive than Innerforce. Same thing happens with some other models like T-Boll CAF which are 30-40% more expensive here.
