I wonder why you just only have Max thickness (2.2mm) on Provincials... Are Pro available in thinner thicknes?

2.2mm is the popular weight for most players. Any other thickness... 2.1, 2.15, 2.0 must be custom ordered and the training centers never have enough for their own players. 2.2mm on the other hand is the default thickness of the sponge.

42 hardness H3P black rubbers are available! These are extremely hard to obtain as provincial players normally use this hardness. Thus there are rarely any remaining left for the distributors or avid players like me =)

For those who are asking about the recommendations for hardness, here's a guideline rubric for your playing style:
39 - Cpen-Jpen - more driving and pushing than looping (39H3P has a low arc). For people with a big looping swing and tons of energy, I'd recommend 39 hardness. 40 - Standard hardness - most shakehand players will enjoy this hardness. The most versatile of the hardness range. Not as good in pushing compared to the 39, but you can loop with ease. 41/42 - These require quick reaction. Normally used by provincial players who tune these heavily. Not recommended for beginners who have trouble implementing basic stroke techniques. But once you have your strokes down, 41 is the best way to go. I currently use 40/41 hardness. |

Greater hardness would mean slightly more speed.
Softer allows slightly more spin :) |

I'd recommend you try a 39 or a 41 hardness. 40's won't be coming in for at least another 6-8 weeks.
