Should I get a thick blade or a thin blade

   Hi,

I am going to get a new blade soon and I am used to blade thickness around 6mm +- 2mm. Should I get a thicker blade or thinner blade? What are the pros and cons of each of them? Your valuable input is much appreciated. My style of play is close-to-table but sometime mid-distance.
