What do you think about this bh technique?
Seems clean, easy to execute and effective. It seems after the opening looping he mostly hits flat but somehow still he gets good angles. Edited by notgooord - 11/28/2016 at 3:19am |

Is his technique similar to short pimples? I know he's a coach in UK.

I'd say his overall technique is old-school. A defining feature of the backhand stroke in that time was the elbow did not stick out in front of the body, which limited the leverage and space for acceleration, as well as stability for consecutive strokes.
Even in '98, Boll's elbow position on backhand stroke was no where as outward as it is after Y2K. Edited by zeio - 11/28/2016 at 5:53pm |
