I don t think that Kreanga could do that weird sidespin (big curl) with a stiff blade like kreanga ucl.and I can T belive it s a primorac carbon with kreanga grip. It should be an all-wood flexible blade

know one can say who has the best for sure. We all have differnt defintions. Kreaga might have the most powerful, but its certaintly bad off the bounce and he makes lots of mistakes when he doesnt get a pop up. By my definition, I would say Chiang Peng-lung, pearson, wang hao (5 years ago), who ever was teh first to chop on the bh side.

yes, you can say so, according to the best coaches in the world, including world s #1 Ferenc Karsai the order is this for shakehand players:

Most complete bh: wan liqin

Most efective, long distance defensive, powerful, mastered Bh: Kalinikos Kreanga

Best bh loop kill: Werner Schlager

Best of-the-bounce bh: Alexei Smirnov (to chinese coaches Chuan s faster)

Technically perfect bh, including footwork : Kong Linghui

so you could deduce why people gets so amazed with kreanga.

I love watching him, Kreanga has amazing rallies whenhe is warm, but his mental is what truly holds him back from winning major championships.

I also think Kong is one of the best players ever. He is so fast and crisp with his style.... everything is so tight and perfect it is amazing.. Just wish he was a little younger these days.

Very good synopsis. I personally would go with chuan on quickest off the bounce. I think smirnov s is prettiest. Kudo s to primorac for developing the modern bh, and also I like watching the flowing fluttering backhand of persson.

Also, we must not forget TIMO BOLL. He has great technique in his backhand topspin loop. Many times he has shown this FAR from the table, and still won the point.

Ya...

Technically perfect, best placement, most mastered, most body-balanced Fh: Wang Liqin. (well you can actually deduce it, even the killerspin guys talk about it) I d add Best fh ever...

Best Fh-Bh against defensive players Kkreanga, Kostopoulus says that hes the only player who attacks with bh along with schlager spin-loaded backspin shots.

Most consistent FH in general Timo Boll, but its been said he has a big weakness when playing against players who make fh stroke fordwards like chinese players, in an interview he said  he had to train exclusively on that  in order to be able to counter wang liqin s fh topspins in the last world cup.

and the best penhold fh ryu seung min

well thats all I ve heard about fh...

The best server in the world: werner schlager, he has 13 different serves all loaded with heavy spin, just check his training video to look some of his..

European players have the worst foot-work. And I agree with it, at least danish players look unconfortable.

Yes, I totally agree, but doesnt all Danish people look unconfortable whne they move around

Thanks for the info on FH. On the serve I have always believed that Waldner was the greatest, but I might be subjectiv in that matter.

Liu Guoliang serves pretty well. At the end of his serves he makes a follow-through sometimes to trick what kind of serve he has.

Just a little friendly neighbour competition. In little Scandinavia Sweden allways try to act like a big brother to Denmark, Finland and norway. Thats why we allways take every opportunity to pick on each other

Now days its fun to be swedish again, but it was really hard a couple of years ago. Norway beat as a winterolympics, Finland beat us in hockey and the Danish people where laughing at our defeats. All ofcourse wiht the right sense of humour.

I think waldners service still is very good, just watch the match against Timo Boll in athens. He had big problems with the return of waldners service.

But Ok, it was better before.

what?? best penhold fh Ryu Seung Min??

All you have to do is watch Ma Lin to see that nobody using penhold grip can control the ball like he can.... period.

I would say for whatever reason you choose Ryu for best, Ma Lin can do the very same thing, and probably better. After all, he is the world s HIGHEST ranked Penholder, with Wang Hao right behind. Plus, Ma Lin actually beats Wang Liqin, something that Ryu is trying very hard to accomplish.

I respect all opinions, but this just doesn t seem right at all...

All you have to do is watch the matches and training to see this.
