I can get a batch of Viscaria ST made, but there are a few catches:
1. It will be a bit more expensive. I would need to sell them for $170ea 2. The blades would not have the markings of Viscaria on them 3. I would need to order atleast 100 of them to get this pricing I would love some feedback to see how many people would be interested in a Viscaria St blade at that price. Thanks |

What is the blades weight range? Lighter or heavier than 90gr?
Photos would be better before ordering. |

who is gona make them? If its just another koto ALC, i don't need one. If it is a real viscaria, i will take one. But I prefer with the lenses, so I can resell. Will definitely buy if you can prove they are authentic.

What profile ST would it be...?
Micheal Maze ST Timo Boll ST I haven't held a Viscaria ST handle, so if you or anyone can confirm the ST profile it would've helpful. Don't say Viscaria ST... |

In order to get people to fully commit, you'll probably need to provide a little more detail - such as:
• Will the ST handle be like the original Viscaria ST handle, or similar to other BTY ST handles? (please specify) • Weight is going to be important • You say "no BTY markings" - is it similar to custom BTY blades that have no printed face graphics, no lenses, but still have the metal tag at the butt of the handle? • Timeline? How long will it take before these blades are ready from the time your order is put in? Edited by Pondus - 06/04/2014 at 10:28am |

I can request from the manufacturer to give me details of the ST handle profile. Thanks for that thought. |

The weight is a difficult question. I have had regular Viscaria FL range from 79g to 94g, so I doubt that the manufacturer would be able to provide me a weight guarantee. You are exactly correct. This would be a 100 piece order from Tamasu, shipped to the US. There will be no markings other than the metal at the butt of the handle. No face graphics, no lenses. It would probably be 6-8 weeks from the time I put in the order. |

Most of mine lately have been in the 80-85g weight range. I haven't had a 90g Viscaria in over a year. This is a funny turnaround because they used to all be over 85g. This is just a guess, but I think the weight differences might have to do with the moisture of the wood. A lower moisture content at the time of manufacture would lead to a lighter blade. That is entirely speculation, though. I would also think that a younger Koto wood would have a less tight grain and therefor, a lighter ply. |

They will be made in Japan by Tamasu. Same factory as the other Viscaria, but without lenses. It would be just as if you ordered a custom Viscaria ST from Butterfly, it would just cost almost half as much as if you bought just one. |

The handle on the original Viscaria ST is nothing like a Maze ST or TB ST handle. It's wider, more flat, and fairly substantial. I'm not even sure what current BTY blade has a similar handle. I guess the Innerforce series ST or Zhang Jike series ST handles aren't too different. |

I genuinely didn't know because I've never had a Viscaria ST and names I mentioned were just examples. A known reference helps. Thanks for clarifying.... |

You are welcome. I don't know why they don't make this blade in the first place. |

Innerforce ALC ST handle is the most comfortable in the world. It is perfect, it cannot be improved.

I have found that the things I think are perfect are abhorrent to other individuals. And the most ridiculous things to me are other individuals' absolute perfection. Just look at Justin Bieber. |

I have preference for heavier blade as well. even a couple of grams over 90 is ok. I have never touched a light blade that feels good, regardless of price or manufacturer.

84g. You can choose any weight 80-85g, 85-90g etc. 170$ very good price (i pay more 350$), but 100 blades unreal quantity. ST handle feels good (for medium or big hands).
