what are the pressure points in Wang hao's grip?
which  blade's handle is more suitable for Wang Hao kind of grip?
wider handle would make thumb and index  finger barely touch each other like in wang hao's grip?

if you are just interested to know it's fine, as lot of national coaches are not recommending imitating his grip, it is quite unique for him only just like LGL's angled wrist, it may not work well with others

is Wang hao's racket  perpendicular to forearm in most of his shots?
Index finger not applies any pressure? Only Thumb and the last 3 fingers hold the racket?

Thanks.

thumb and middle finger applies pressure evenly. index finger as support only.
A wider handle don't work as you will not able to apply strength in a concentrated manner.

My racket will move if I holding like this...Disapprove
My thumb and index finger need to have a little gap to hold the racket..

Also, his forehand rubber is cut all the way to the handle tip with barely any gap.....like shakehand.
His unique grip probably demands this ?

enky4u, Wang Hao's grip and XX's grip are not easy to master.
Ma Lin's and Wang Jian Jun's are a bit easier to learn, IMO, but that's only my opinion.  Smile

How is WH grip different from Ma Lin's? They both place the three back fingers in the same way.

Wang Hao's grip is not like most regular penholder's grip for sure, and certainly different from Ma Lin's. Due to his lack of traditional backhand and requirement for optimal RPB maneuverability, he grips higher up on the handle, which is why he does not require a finger gap between rubber and handle.

The index finger is placed on the bevel of the handle instead of the face of the blade. The index finger and thumb are closer together due to this narrower grip, and it allows for a larger degree of rotation for RPB which is Wang Hao's signature.

The finger positioning on the backhand is more or less the same as Ma Lin's; curled with the fingertips together.

I'm sure they are different if you look clearly, from the front..

How is Darker 7p 2a Cpen for RPB?
I think Darker 7p 2a handle is suitable for Wang Hao grip, as it's is thicker.

Darker 7p 2a and Rutis Cpen coparison
