2004 Super League Prize Money

$2,625 in prize money will be award as follows:

$1,116 for the winning team

$   697 for the second team

$   465 for the third team

$   209 for the top individual not on a prize winning team (most wins)

$   138 for the second individual not on a prize winning team (second most wins)

Teams will be made up of 4 members of whom 3 will compete on any one night.  Winning teams will divide prize money upon the basis of victories recorded by each indiviudal.  Thus, if on the winning team "a" has 24 wins, "b" 16 wins, "c" 11 wins and "d" 7 wins, $1,116 would be divided 24+16+11+7 = 58, "a" would receive 24/58 x $1,116 = $461.79, "b" 16/58 x $1,116 = $307.86, "c" 11/58 x $1,116 = $211.66 and "d" 7/58 x $1,116 = $134.69

In any case "d" would be guaranteed a minimum of $116 (1st place team) $74 (2nd place team) $56 (3rd place team) as part of the team as long as they played a minimum of 9 opponents.

At the moment we have 2 sponsors sighned up at $350.00 per.  This along with $1,800 from entry fees and $600 from the OTTA pays for 1) Prize money ($2,625) 2) Rental of facilities ($300) 3) Rating fees ($180)

Any additional sponsorship money raised will pay for 1) additional prize money 2) additional expenses (eg water) 3)Central Region table tennis programs. (Water will be supplied)

Ken Kerr has again generously offered to supply free of charge, Butterfly 3 star table tennis balls for all matches.
