The Winter 2009 Round Robins Rattlers Tournament
(March 8, 2009)

Results

It was back to full house at Rattlers last Sunday, with maximum capacity (36 players) in each category. Perhaps recent low enrolments had more to do with the wrong time of year (mid-Dec. or early Jan.) than with waning interest among players.
    The O-1000 event was dominated by favourite Alex Li, who had obviously been improving his skills abroad while missing our competitions last year. Neither ZeXuan Wang (a regular finalist), nor much improved Rahim Mithani or rejuvenated Mark Pang could rise to the challenge.
    In the U-1500, the surprise winner was Simon Ling, a local boy � well, a very mature boy� - and tournament organizer. Go, Rattlers, go!
