Apparantly these are one of the only table tennis shoes that are really grippy along with mizuna. Is this true? I need shoes which are really grippy and comfortable. Ive tried other table tennis shoes but they werent that grippy. I know these shoes are narrow which is good for my feet but are they also comfortable?

I'm using my adidas clima cool runners to play, and they've been working out pretty good.

I've had mine since it initially came out.  I've been happy with them ever since. As for grip, I've used them on wood floors and the table tennis rubber type floors and they seem to be okay.

The thing with wooden floors is that sometimes it accumulates dust which makes them slipper and no matter how grippy your shoes are, it will be slippery. Bring a wet cloth to the table and occassionally rub the soles slightly and you'll have grippy shoes again.

Used them for about a year, made a whole lot difference. Good grip, normally don't slip even on reasonable dust. They are narrow so do take a size or so bigger. I went to 11.5 instead of normal 10.5 US to get right fit. Good thing I could try them on before I bought them. They are quite comfortable but personally I like shoes to be broader from front which was missing.

Also, see Waldner Flex, these are new shoes and portray being grippy.
