hello everyone,

i am an amatuer player from asia, living in china. been playing here pretty often with some real good players (by my standards, which is mediocre ) my set up is at my signature, so no need to elaborate further. I play my game with lots of drives and top spins, btw my blade is c-penhold, been playing with this set-up for the past 3 months. feels that the dhs h3 is a little too soft for aggressive pushes and smashes. i like the tackiness of the top sheet though.

i am considering the fh rubber to either the dhs h3 blue sponge or the yasaka new era spin. i tried using my fh dhs 3 as my bh rubber, it is performing better than the sriver-fx, when i play reverse pen-hold backhand, i.e. more spin and power. any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. my blade suitable for this kind of play?

cheers!

Only one thing I know. You should improve very fast considering table tennis' being played everywhere. Make use of the affordable coaching rates there. Cheers!

well well well ... a fellow singaporean, what a coincidence :)

yeah, there are lots of good players in here, provided u know where to look for them:) the general public's playing std is only so-so though. i have a 60 yr old coach now, been playing with him for 3 months loh, very enjoyable, only 20rmb per hour :) i have been here for 2 yrs and it is only recently that i get to know this group of players, sad right? they are all senior players, very experienced, some of them are club players and even a few are province team players :)

so where do u play in singapore? how long u been playing? what is your gear?

hi guero, there is no pyramid here :) yes a famer discovered the first pieces of the warrior when he was digging for something on a piece of land. then the government came in and excavated part of that area and found more. u got to see the site now for yourself, i was awed when i first saw them 'live', and have seen them 3 times already :)

know of a 7 yr old girl here, saw her play, and i tell u, she can PLAY! hahaha, she was under a coach for 2 years :)

happy ping-ponging :)
