729 F-1

construction-wise:
It has the same thickness 5.7-5.9 as TBS, while V-6 is 6.4 and hence much stiffer.
It has the Kiri core, just like V-6 and TBS and Michael Maze
It has a top ply of Koto just like TBS and Viscaria, but unlike V-6 where the top ply is low quality Limba.
It has a second wood layer before the carbon, just like V-6, IF ALC, but not like TBS

It is as fast as TBS, may be even marginally faster... but V-6 is even faster.

I played with it and bought one for myself recently.... it's a little expensive $19 at eacheng LOL

Debraj,

Can I ask about the source of your research on the F1?
I ask because I am looking at some of their OFF- blades (F2, L2, V5) and would like to have some of the information you provided on the F1.

Thanks in advance.

hey sure,

my info source is:
http://www.729sports.com/products_list/&searchType=productAdvancedSearch&md5static=f8e38a1f224c2a730226710177196242&pmcId=2cabc157-3e7d-41a9-abda-ed69caf68947&keyword=.html

Translate that into english using gogle and substitute:

limba for ling ba
ayous for ayoushi
kiri for paulownia

i haven't played with F2 or L2, but i have a F-5.

some of my freinds played with V-5 and none liked it. definitely not a off- with 6.8mm thickness.

Very cool. Thank you.

Yes, you are right, V-5 is definitely not off-

I think I am actually going to try the A-1. I will post some picks and comment on it when I get it.

I believe it is necessary. Stiga Clipper is much faster than Stiga NCT. The NCT will give you more control... meaning more ball on the table. For a beginner like me, this is important. I am doing the same kind of switch.

Good luck!

So hitting is not bad, while power-looping excels.

at 950 INR it's a steal... can beat blades 4 times as expensive, hands down.

Hi Debraj,
Can you please explain how 3K carbon is different than Arylate Carbon or Carbon Aramid..??
Blade : Michael Maze ALC
F/H : Andro Hexer 2.1
B/H : Haifu Shark II Soft Max
