I live Seattle, WA.

You can have the guest room at my place for a while if you are not afraid of a house with 2 kids (9,3) and 2 crazy cats.

I'll drive you around town to a few clubs including night ones.

san diego has one of the best club in the USA (sdtta.org) and some of the best beaches of the world. LA is 1.5 hours away. then LV is a hop away.

oh, wow!!  sorry about that--i didn't realize it would finish on the 3rd, cuz it usually goes on throughout that weekend.

anyhow, in case you don't know, the 4th of July is our INDEPENDENCE DAY (from Britain), so all american cities will have some type of celebration which usually includes fireworks that night.

so, if i were you, i would try be in a major city that day, cuz the bigger cities tend to have better fireworks displays that night and, also, more elaborate celebrations.

I just found out that ICC (Indian Community Center) is having 2 advanced camps during that time with Sean Oneill as the head coach.

ICC is in Milpitas, Ca which is just SE of San Francisco.  ICC is one of the best (if not the best) training oriented clubs in the country.  You can get info on them at http://indiacc.org/tabletennis.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the links to TT related items.
 
 
Its wikipedia so I don't guarantee total accuracy, but I think it gives a good idea of his credentials. 
 
 
Drive between LA and San Franciso on Highway 1 (right along coast) has some of the best scenery in the US.
 
I am not familiar with your level of play and how it would fit into the US rating system.  However, if you e-mail Rajul Sheth at ICC I am sure he could tell you exactly how you would fit into one of his camps.

thanks guys, I just got to see my rankings after the Queensland Championships and even though I won 80% or more of my matches the last match of the day cost me a lot more points.

I am now in the 1600s. Anyway I have to stop thinking about rankings and ratings otherwise I think I will quit the sport.

On the topic of the holiday, there is a chance that I will go to Japan to go and protest in front of Butterfly Japan. I may use the money to go protest or just buy a load of tenergy since the price is going up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you come to L.A., you could stay in a budget motel next to our Los Angeles Table Tennis Association, and play table tennis 24/7 if you wish!  We are the 2nd largest full-time table tennis club in the United States, and there are always plenty of 2150-2350 level players to test your skills.  There are also quite a few national and international-level coaches if you are interested in getting some serious training.  Every Saturday I organize an Open round robin event at 2pm with perhaps the strongest field in the area. 

I can offer you rides from and to the airport, as well as to our city's most popular sightseeing spots, but I won't be able to be your tour guide because of my busy schedule... I could also set you up with relatively inexpensive short tours to famous areas nearby such as Las Vegas/Grand Canyon, San Diego/Sea World, Sequioa/Yosemite/S.F. etc.

No, I didn't mean that. Those emails are fine. I meant the fact that my email address is in plain text when you do "View Source" on the webpage. Spammers crawl the Web looking for email addresses.
