Hi all,

I had chance to try Bryce (2.1) on my backhand for few practices and liked the way it plays, except that I found it too fast, so based on Bty's description I'm considering to try Cerment.

Does any of you have experience with both rubbers and could let me know ...
a) how similar is the feeling, throw angle and sponge hardness (e.g. Bty states that Cerment has medium soft sponge)
b) is there noticeable difference in speed bet these two rubbers

Im using red 2.1 cermet on m maze but i tried bryce 2.1 black on a bty bisde(arlyte). I don't like cermet that much, especially at slow speeds, feels dead, despite the soft sponge. The topsheet feels very not grippy. Spin is generated best at higher speeds. Bryce, maybe becuase of the softer blade it was on, felt better. If 2.1 is too fast for you maybe try 1.9.

If you like Bryce but find it hard to control, you can try Bryce FX. I used Bryce and later changed to Bryce FX. I plan to use it on my Darker 7P2A CHN Carbon.

My issue was less with being able to control Bryce - more with just being too fast for my liking.
I was considering Bryce FX, but since I'm not a big fan of soft sponges, I'm afraid that the feeling of FX would be considerably different from that of regular Bryce.

Butterfly describes Cerment "Bryce with manners" - but I've learned from past experience not to put much faith in manufacturers's description.

From what I've heard (I played only with Bryce), Cerment is slightly slower, has slightly softer sponge and higher throw angle, but I'm not sure if the "feeling" is simlilar to that of Bryce.
