Anyone know anything about this blade?
Is CAD$20 too much to pay for it? |

That's part of the 'wind series' from DHS, I don't think this one is made any more. I've got a W1030 which is not too bad. Quality is quite good, a little heavy (~92g). If it's new it's not a bad price considering DHS is probably the most expensive chinese brand.

Thanks for your feedback haggisv!
HAHA, it was more of an impulse purchase on my part. Was on the way home from some place far, and decided to drop by this place. That's the lowest price that the guy said he would sell it to me - probably should have bargained more. =P Brand new blade; Chinese Penhold; 78 grams; Really lively tone to the blade when I bounced a ball against it; looked like an excellent finish for a Chinese blade; had a really nice 2nd & 4th ply (looked similar to a certain ply on my Offensive CR); Handle was nice and comfy. Now I just have to see how it plays..... |

Wow 78g, that's vey good for a DHS blade. I guess the pengrips are a little lighter. Yes the handles are nice, and a pretty good finish on their blades... Good luck! |
