If you are playing now, or if you played before ... and remember which blade is faster, which has more control, feel, etc ... Please share
Which in your opinion will perform better with short and/or long pips ? Thank you for your input. Sincerely 💯niTenis

I think iolite is faster and stifler.
Outer ply of iolite is very thin.
Gergely would be the most controllable of all hinoki carbon blades from bty.

nah....I don't think so. Btw, he's asking about Iolite NEO, not Iolite, vs Gergely Tamca Carbon.
I've a Iolite Neo FL (84g) & owned/played a bit of my last 2 Iolite FL/ST old w/o serial # (89g & 91g). Also I briefly hit w/my buddy's old Gergely FL Carbon years ago (I'm not a fan of it). These 3 are all very different composite blades (Iolite & Iolite Neo are Arylate Carbon & Gergely is Tamca Carbon, all have Hinoki top plies & Iolite Neo's one is the thinnest). IMHO, these 3 are different & Gergely is stiffest like hell vs the other 2 & Iolite Neo is the most pleasant & easier to play with compared w/ the other 2.
Again, Gergely Tamca Carbon, IMHO, would be in the same ball-park as the Schlager Carbon if you can find these 2 of the same weight range (My last 2 SCs, FL & An, were 92 & 91g).
I don't have any fond memories of these 2 (GC & SC) Tamca Carbon blades.

I know didn't want to write neo all the time.

For me bty hinoki carbon blades don't feel hard, maybe the thick outer layer does this.

Iolite neo did feel hard because outer layer so thin.
Similar feel to yinhe t series.
