I was fascinated with the pips out rubber and had browsed for the donic alligator soft pips. Is it hard to adjust using the rubber? What's the best/reliable brand and model?

hold it penhold, but open up your palm slightly. Twist your arm/racket clockwise. Start w/ paddle at vertical first to put strictly sidespin.

These GIFs are excellent teaching aids. I have been planning to construct a coaching "manual" for ages and these type of videos are perfect. What tools did you use to capture the videos and then create the GIFs?

In #2 "HaoBflick.gif" I'd like to comment Ma's serve:

correct me if I am wrong:

1)he does a top spin serve.
2)tries to sell it as underspin.
3)finishes by masking the fake underspin with a follow through that is typical of topspin serves.
