Calvin does have some of the most enviable cpens collection wif some of the most expensive rbrs out there. These r just some of his prized possessions/collectibles. It doesn't mean that he can play them all/spend fair or equal amnt of time wif each of them.
If I were him, I'd stick to all wood..that Septear Cpen is nice. This combo wif couple of decent rbrs like Sriver L/EL is more than enuf for me...The rest..I dunno much so can't really comment but ttman does have a point there.. |

I train 100% of the time w/ my Photino, It has wonderful gears and amazing control. I mean geez, I only use 1.9 on Bryce Speed, of course i know my limits, but i still like to try different equipment. When i play with friends i mess around with the other blades. Btw i spend about 15 hours a week playing.
I really don't like the Septear -.- |

ughh the venus is pretty heavy. I got Venus and Mark V on it and the thing went up to 155. Definitely feeling a bit head heavy.

nono, i already have the darker. It just never gets played. All the other blades are happy with their playing time :D
I still have to pay for the Strad ;p but since she's going there i might as well get it, it comes with RC-30 case for free too. |

Are you playing your Mizutani ST like a Cinese penhold blade?

dalamchops + gang, I did something interesting with my Ludeack C and MC1 . . . I customized them to standard width, trimming off the extra fat down on the lower sides of the blade. The Ludeack is now 80g and the MC1 is 70g.

Nothing special for me: Mostly DEF blades. Trying some 7ply and carbon blades but it may be too much for me. Rubbers as you can predict Reactor Tornado, Ckylin, Novar & Corbor ... sometimes H3

My Ludeack weighs 78g originally, kinda head heavy though, so if i trim the fat butt it'll make it worse. I thought about sanding the head. My MC1 weighs 73g. |

DalamChops, you are a certified Equipment Junkie, with one of the best collections of Penhold blades I have ever seen, outside a table tennis store.
Awesome...is the word that comes to mind. And I salute you. Now, can I have your address so that I can break in and steal all of them... :D |
