Hey everybody. You all know me here, or most of you and wanted to let you know following. On September 20th 2011, I am sending Table Tennis goods to Bosnia and Herzegovina, City of Bihac, to local club of Bihac, to a kids. As per them, there is 18 kids ages 8 - 13 who are practicing and playing. I did send package 2 years ago, and I am doing it again. Whoever feels that can donate something please let me know. I am sending 5 brand new blades and 10 brand new rubbers to them. If you feel that you can donate old blades, or some rubbers (cheap is fine) let me know. PM me for my address if you would like to send something. Questions, let me know ! Melarimsa ...

NOTE: Help for shipping with only $2 via Pay Pal. My address is: [email protected]

Could, but I doubt 8-13 year olds from Bos/Herz would make use of penhold blades or long pips that my bundle would contain . I might just do a MYTT donation.

why don't Mel post some vids. just as Yogi_bear did before to show the kids in the club who need new blades & rbrs or other equipment? 8-13 y/o may not need fancy/expensive blades/rbrs, I would think....

That is good idea. I will try and contact them if they can send a photos or videos them playing and practicing in the club. Also, I never said they need expensive equipment, as you may all see, it does NOT have to be expensive at all. Brand new rubbers up to $10 are fine. I am sending 10 REACTOR rubbers to them and 5 blades. But, again, I will send email and ask about video and photos of them. Thanks all ... Mel !

No one posted back to me from Bosnia about photos or videos. I suppose getting to net is harder than anything else. Well, just wanted to update everybody that 5 blades (3 Donic Cayman, 1 BTY Balsa X5, 1 Palio Chop 1) all brand new is going to my homeland. Also, instead of 10, I did send 16 brand new rubbers (10 Reactor Thunders 3S, 2 Palio Thor's, 2 Palio Macro Eras, 2 BTY Roundell). On top of that, I did packed 12 brand new Nittaku 3 star balls and some cleaner sponges. All is shipping on Friday.

mel, good job! i think even $5 RITC rubbers that are new are good enough to send to poor areas. they don't need high end rubbers unless one of them gets to a high level. the ones you sent are already high end rubbers

Hey Yogi. Thanks for reply. Yes, that is why I send few good rubbers, in case that someone is better than rest, so it can practice and play with advanced rubbers. You did get my point very well. Just a heads up, I wanted to say that NO ONE did send anything for this package and that is OK. What I can ask is DONATION of $2 via paypal as GIFT option for shipping. If you can, and feel, please send it. My pay pal is: [email protected]

Shipping will cost around $46

TODAY around 3pm, I will go and ship this package that I put together (Blades, Rubbers and Balls) to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Shipping will cost $46 and I did ask anybody to donate $2 for this. Some of you did DONATE and I am very happy with this. I have collected $23 so far, and asking players to DONATE few more dollars. ONLY $2 will be great. In event, I do not get to $46, I am sending it anyway, as I promised to do it. Please, keep in mind that I did put my money and bought all rubbers, blades and balls (even few bags of candy) for those children in need. ALL I am asking is $2 for shipping. Thanks, and god bless !
