Yes; this one and the blade's equivalent piligrim started. For now I favorited them in my browsers and sent myself an email with the 2 links to find them easily. More to come.

When giving the reviews, the user should also clarify what blade(s) were used and playing level/style.

Rubber reviews are very subjective.  I like xiying 979 yet one one of the database sights one person said it was the worst excuse for a LP rubber.  If the person doing the review was expecting a lot of spin reversal or funky shots then XiYang 979 is not the right rubber.
I am going to buy another sheet from colestt soon.  Xiyang 979 works for me.
On another forum martinspin said that Xiying 979 on a Toni Hold White Spot,THWS, is a good combination.   I just happened to have 2 THWS and XiYang 979 is  indeed a  good combination.

Basically, you must ensure that who ever is rating the rubber plays the same style as you do.

I recycled one piligrim's post that was older than the thread and I moved it here so it went to the top; that way piligrim can edit the 2nd post and the thread will not be unstickied.

Sorry to post this here i am new to this forum and wasn't sure where it fit.

Hello everyone My name is Thomas and i have been playing for 2.5 years. I have a question about the which Forehand rubber to use. Due to a muscle problem i am a bit slower and have a hard time away from the table. I have learn to play on the bounce with flat hitting and  On the Forehand side i need a new (the other got wasted) rubber that compliments my needs as mentioned above. To sum up i have this blade http://www.tabletennisdb.com/blade/butterfly-kreanga-powerkev-carbon.html

1)i want to play close to the table almost on the bounce

2) I can block well

3) I am OK at topspin but not great (improving every week)

4) I have a bad smash partly because i don't let the ball bounce high, so i practice only on training.

5) I think hitting flat helps me more than spin since it takes time away from my opponent.<br>Any suggestions?

Also i have Backhand rubber pimples out Adidas Blaze Speed and a friend gave me this to try http://www.tabletennisdb.com/pips/tibhar-grass-dtecs.html<br>but every ball end up in the net. It requires too much power. I have improved thanks to the Adidas rubber but i do realize its not the best out there. Always compared to my level. Again any suggestions?
