I have a sheet of this rubber at 2.2mm 43 degrees.

I have not used it on my paddle yet but something about it intrigues me.

The topsheet and the sponge do not separate when peeled. They do not break when pulled. I pinched the topsheet and the sponge separately and they do not leave a dent.

I have had my hands on around 10 rubbers so far, none of the below pass all 3 tests with OVA being very very close.

Moon
AURORA
T88-I
BARACUDA
OVA
H3
TinArc, TinArc3
T05
T05FX
Whale Power

Is this $9 rubber a real hidden gem?

Durability wise it is - its a sturdy rubber...

performance wise, its great control - not so much speed and spin but enough to be dangerous. Feel is a bit hard.

I am interested in Aurora - how did you find it? I actually bought a sheet, for a friend of mine, but only got to try it for 5 minutes on his blade.. not enough to get a real feel...

Aurora is a great rubber. With tearmender it makes loud clicking sound. I have put it on my dads c pen blade. He loves it.

Aurora is really nice both FH and BH. Its not cheap at $20. I think it can compare to ESN rubbers at $40 levels.

So from your list above - regard performance - you think Aurora is best one below 30$ price?

Better than Sanwei T88i?
