Anybody try one or both of these blades? Looking for some feedback as there is not a lot of info on these blades. I am guessing the F1 is a Viscaria clone and th F3 a TB Spirit clone. I am currently playing a wood blade (Tibhar SPW) and want to try a cheap carbon blade. I prefer something geared towards spin over speed.

I have tried only F1. Handle is round shape. Blade face is a little bigger than BTY standard size. Outer ply is Ayous felt very soft and followed by arylate carbon but I do not remember the others. The blade is thick around 6.8 mm if I remembered correctly. Overall it is cleary fast as OFF blade, softer than TMB ALC (May be closer to Vis but I did not play with vis so long), less stiff, feel hollower and gave more feedback (Vibration) which I felt it was good vibration if you know what I mean to. Caution, I suggest you to seal all SANWEI blade because you'll get splintering when you peel off rubber.

Thanks Tabmini. +1 for the F1 despite the thicker construction.Was leaning that way just on looks alone....the F3 is kinda ugly
Was going to add Sword Blue Feather to my list, but almost twice the cost.....any reason to ad it to the debate for the $$$ Open to other suggestions of Chinese clones that are thin and flexible Edited by Cochese - 10/25/2015 at 12:42am |

Unexpectedly I also tried Blue feather. I can compare to F1, BF a bit slower, harder but stiffer, felt sharper on hard impact. Blade size same as butterfly standard size. Someone told me that it feel like Viscaria. Surely has better quality than F1.Overall quality almost on par with JAPAN brand except finishing on composite layer not perfect like well-know brand. And you do not need to seal this blade, it look like already sealed from factory.

They claimed that blade is thick only 5.5 mm. I have measured with vernier caliper 0.05 mm the result show the blade that I ever had thick around 5.85 mm and weighed around 91 g. However, it play great though.

Do you recall if the F1 is Butterfly size as well? I am currently using a Tisha Stratus Powerwood and it is on the larger side. Would be nice if the F1 is smaller so I can reuse my current rubber.

I have no idea that TSPW will has blade size equal to F1. From Yogi's reviewing, he claimed that TSPW has 157x151 mm and BTY standard size is 157x150 mm. Perhaps F1 is a bit bigger though. |

Paddle palace catalog list the SPW as 158x152. I had a Xiom Zetro Quad last year which is listed as 157x150 and those measurements were pretty accurate. Rubber from my ZQ didn't cover the SPW, so thinking the rubber on my SPW now will be big enough to cover the F1.
I went ahead and ordered the F1 from eachang on eBay so I will post some details when I get it in a couple weeks. |

Esn rubbers tend to shrink, at least most of them. Heck, even tenergies now a days shrink lmao.
So judging blade size based on cut rubbers isnt the way to go. |

I understand they can shrink but I also took rubber off my SPW and put them on my Zetro Quad and had to trim them down.
Either way, I am hoping the F1 is smaller than the SPW cuz the rubber on my SPW is still in great shape. Edited by Cochese - 10/25/2015 at 9:41pm |

I have tried both F3 and they play quite different from each other. The old F3 which you have posted a picture of plays softer than the Viscaria fl. Also a thing to add is that the composite layer is inner and not outer like tbs, Viscaria etc.

From some sellers, They claimed that both F1 & F3 have Ayous as Outer plies. That why it provides soft feel.

It is both the Ayous outer ply and inner composite layer that contributes to the soft feel.
