Bryce is like H3 it needs speed glue. It is still really fast without speed glue but doesn't spin . If you want something that is fast has a med/low throw and good spin get T64 or D64. The only advantage Bryce has over new rubbers is that it's light weight.

I'm amazed Butterfly still sells it. It was great with speed glue and was designed for it. It was state of the art in 2007.

I tried High Speed when it first came out. It had a low arc and average/low spin. I didn't try boosting it cause it feels on the soft side already. Looking back it might be an ok BH option. Personally there are a lot of other rubbers that are cheaper and better.

Is there also any cheaper alternative to T64/D64, such as Tibhar Evolution MX-P, Xiom Omega VII Tour, ITC PowerCell Ultra 45/48 or Tmount Ace 1/2? (Tenergy and Dignics are quite expensive, but Bryce is cheaper, also a reason for my question.)

BTW, what about BTY Sriver? How is it compared to Bryce and Tenergy?

The best Bryce is no Bryce. If you are using a Butterfly rubber and it doesn't say Tenergy or Dignics on it, you probably made a mistake.

I know this is an old post, but I just saw it, and thought I'd throw my 2 cents in if you are still experimenting. I exclusively use 1 ply blades (Darker), and have found for my game Stiga Calibra LT to be the best. It is medium hard, which is well suited for Hinoki. I use to use Tenergy 64, which is also a great rubber. I changed because Calibra LT gives me the same speed, but is better for blocking, and is less sensitive to spin.

Since Tenergy series is available on the market I can´t see a point trying Bryce.

MX-P is widely described as fast (as fast or faster than T05) and with a somewhat low-ish throw. Great price when on sale. Lesser durability than Tenergy/Dignics. Try it.
