Is there any solution available like Eproxy that can be applied on one side of the blade to make it slower?

In my experience, epoxy around the blade's neck, will stiffen it, and make it faster. Better off finding a slower blade, and make one side faster using the epoxy trick around the neck, in my opinion.

Try adding 0.25mm to 1mm of cork on one side of a thick paddle, it will NOT be legal because cork is not wood but:
1) even though that ply stops at the level of the top of the handle, the playing surface is still 100% uniform. 2) the cork is not thicker than 15% of the total thickness, in case somebody argues that cork is not wood, which is true. 1 mm cork needs a 6.67mm (total thickness incl. cork which is not unseen) paddle. You could start with that: http://www.corkstore.com/Products/Speciality-Sheets. 0.8mm might be too much. That's all I could think among solutions we can apply without a professional involved. When you are satisfied with the result, you can go 100% legal by pushing the cork under the thin and soft outer ply with an special order from SDC for example. |

SDC is Sergio's blade building endeavor, check it out.
He has a few for sale too: He is based in Portugal and is currently leading the pack when it's about publishing about professionally handmade blades on this forum.
