to linn88

the yasaka ma lin soft carbon and the extra 3d soft carbon are very similiar. the only difference is the 3d cut in the extra 3d soft carbon. but the construction of 5 wood layers and 2 carbon layers is the same. its true that the ma lin blades are more sold in asia but they are now growing in europe too.

if you want a pure wood yasaka blade for looping and close attack i think you should try the yasaka max wood, its very fast and similiar to stiga clipper but max wood has more feeling and its pure wood. the normal yasaka extra is also good but a bit more control than max wood.
Blade: YASAKA Ma Lin Soft Carbon

I think the more recently produced blades have the product number. From what I hear it's for authenticity identification. Some people have numbered viscarias, but the one I had did not have a serial number. Makes no difference if you buy from a trusted shop. I bought mine from Dandoy-sports =)

Well...We should find out from Shij421..I'm eager to know too...as far as I can tell, its head is smaller, more compact, i.e. foot print is smaller n  therefore less rubber, less weight, slower but more control than PKorbel, Zhang yining...prettier looking, like a new kid in town.

Hey tiehwen, thank you for all your help but are you sure that my jpeg or other picture file can only be as big as 200 kb? Because the other pictures in here seem to be very high quality and i doubt that they are under 200 kb for example the close up of shij421 tbs, because my picture is also a higher quality!

I used Microsoft Digital Image Standard 2005 Editor @ home OR Microsoft Picture Manager @ the office to "CROP" out the area of jpeg I wanted to show n further resize/shrink the image to <200 kb but all the time I still maintain the resolution...u can also try Shij421's method...

My turn: Stiga Clipper Wood Legend with Bl. Globe999 2.2m, and R. Sriver EL 2.1m

Compare to other Stiga blades that I ve had, I feel that this one is the most suitable for my style, since I dont speed glue any more, even H3 in OC CR WRB is not fast enough, or the Titanium 5.4 wrb, just too fast and kinda "weirdly" soft.

I'm curious about this blade, as it always generates positive reviews. Since it suits your style very well, may I ask then, what is your style hieuphamWink

Basically, I am an allaround offensive player, opening play with flips, on both FH or BH side, than follow with loop drives, also with both FH and BH. The specialty of this blade is that I asked Dandoy to get me the 85g Clipper blade, and I think the blade is around that range, allowing me to swing fast to counter loop when I m close to the table.
