Timo s Pro Tour ranking points seem to be off by 20000 points.  The system awarded 40000 points to him for winning the Japan Open.

Is there a way to inform ITTF of this mistake?

It s probably not a mistake - Wang Yuegu also got 40,000 for winning in Japan. I suppose that s because the first China Open ("CHN 1", scheduled for June) was canceled, so they decided to add those 20,000 points on. Mizutani and Zhu Yuling received 20,000 points for runner-up, again doubling the points initially announced. That does seem a bit odd since the field was not that strong...

ittf obviously trying to make picture that non-china players are quite equal with china players, by abusing point system. At the end of season, probably chinese will be on first, lets say, two places, Boll will be third, Samsonov 5-th, Mizutani 7-th...that looks like quite equal. While in reallity beating any chinese is extra hard job.

It does indeed seem like an attempt to boost standings of non-Chinese players. Could have been a last-minute decision that seemed good at the time?

They are trying to make the big Chinese table tennis players to come to as many as possible tournaments also...limited exposure is a key factor for the top players

ITTF seems to have corrected the mistake already.  It seems unlikely that ITTF would intentionally try to boost the rankings of Boll, Mizutani, or Samsonov.  At least that is how I see it.
