Hi wald, I have actually posted reviews on both on OOAKT and posted links here. When you have the time, try find it. I can put a very simple and brief review now. Speed Hurricane King is faster than OCCR for sure. Power Hurricane King carries more power than OCCR as well. OCCR actually feels weak compared. I cant really change between those two very fast. Feel OCCR has a the famous Stiga feel, where the blade is soft and you can feel it bend a little backwards when you cantact the ball. HK does not have this feel. It is hard, especially for a wood blade, but do supply vibratition. Dwell OCCR wins here too. HK offers plenty of dwell too, but OCCR offers more. Thickness OCCR is thinner than HK. I guess this effects power and feel, maybe some other factors too. I know some people say that HK is some what of a "upgraded" version of OC, but i dont think it really is. HK has definetly more power and speed. Its also harder. Hope this helps. Others may comment if they have had any other experiences. |

Oh yeah the weight. I dont have a scale, the only one i have is for weighting either body weight (xxx.x kg) or for cooking which weighs only every 5 grams. I can comment that the HK feels pretty heavy, but I actually like it. OC is pretty light, at least lighter. On the scale the HK says 85 g, which means like somewhere between 85 to, idk, 87.5?

Nice H3 Provincial 2.10mm! Looks like you got that recently? Sometime after April of 2009? How did you get one? I've only stumbled across 2.15mm/2.10mm of the provincial tuned, but still only get 2.20mm provincial (non-tuned) and if I try hard enough, H2 Provincial untuned.

btw, what's your most favorite blade amongst the three? I have TBS and OC/CR and the new HK 655, but not the old HK.

I did get it recently. sometime in June/july this year at a club in china. the coach there said that they could only sell me one, for like 80 yuan (pretty cheap for H3P). too bad it they only wanted to sell me one, the others are 2.2mm. They also said that the quality of this one was very good, better than the ones you buy outside (that what they said, dont really belive it) |

Hurricane King is my favorite. I tried TBS with the same combo as i normally use, and it was too hard with little feel. OCCR is too slow with lack of power. With the TBS, i also feel that it is too stiff for me to put enough power into the shot. Its like the ball bounces off before i put enough power into it. Tbs is also faster than HK i think. |

Yeah, I noticed that the production date was April 2009 on the H3P. That's awesome! That must have been a good club with some players that had pull with DHS. It's hard to get custom made DHS sheets. What province where you in this June/July? I've been in Jiangsu, Zhejiang Province (Near Shanghai) during that time!
Btw, yeah I agree about the TBS feeling too hard with little feel on the H3 Pro as well as the OC CR. I've noticed that the OC/CR cpen is a much better combo with H3 Pro, but OC/CR Shakehand doesn't have that same magic feel. Have you tried Clipper CR? I've considered trying out HK for a while now (about 8 months now), but haven't pulled my pants high enough to fork over the money for an HK. |

I havent tried CL CR yet. I just held it and bounced the ball on it like 5 times. It had a really dead red h3 on it, so it felt hard really.
The club i was at wasnt one of the regular clubs when u rent a coach for an hour for a price. it was really a club to develop younger players, so a big percentage of the players there were kids. And I was in Shanghai. and about the HK, dont you carry them? Y dont u just take one and try it? Take good caare of it while u play, and if u dont like it just wrap it up again. |

Ah I see! Yeah Shanghai sports clubs are known for charging 30-50RMB / hr for table fees and 100-150RMB / hr for coaches or (pei da) people who just hit with you. Did you train in BaoShan in the famous training school?
I can't do that, it's against my own belief in ethics. If I claim something is new, they must be brand spanking new. I've tried the HK from other player's setups and it's a stiff/crisp blade with a different type of feel, but I've been pretty contempt with the CL CRs. But HK's always been calling out to me, I've just been forcing myself from getting drawn in by it's decorative packaging Btw, 80 RMB for an H3P? Unheard of! They're usually around 150 +, maybe 120 if you're very very lucky. |

Yep, it was reall cheap. The 3 you see on the top picture was 150, which is what they go for in stores. I dont remember the name of the club i went to. honestly, one of the coaches was a friend of my grandparents, so thats why they let me go there. they didnt really take outsiders. |

Man! I'm jealous! That's so cool! Yeah, they really don't take outsiders. Trust me. I've tried. It's usually for juniors under 18. I watched a few training sessions, and it's full of kids between 8-12 years old in the training centers I went to. Hence why I really only got 5.5 hours of training in the 3+ years of traveling to China.
