I'd like to buy one of these blades. Now, I use the BTY Cypress-S 10 mm! Please, if you don't mind, talk about feel, speed, control, brand quality control. Thanks for your time and your help.

Kokutaku Cho Tokusen, KKT Cho Super Cho, Nittaku A, Speed 90/70 are all better than any Butterfly jpen. Even Yasaka Hasha Special is better choice because wood quality is similar to KTS but less expensive.

Having already Kokutaku, Nittaku and Darker that you mentioned (I don't have KTS, for me the shape of Butterfly J-pen is a bit too wide towards the end, whilst other brands are more or less the same), I am very relieved to read your post |

Cypress S and KTS are the same quality wood in fact all the blades listed are grade S. Cypress (grade) S and KTS are also the same shape. If you get a KTS and a Cypress S 10mm that are the same weight they will play close to the same. KTS is suppose to be med and Cypress S soft but for me it really comes down to weight. The KKT will be different as it has a more compact head you can also find KKT blades in the 80-85 gram range which can be difficult sometimes with KTS if that is what you like.

Cypress Max,KTS and Cypress S 10mm are all nearly the same. If you get a Cypress Max or Cypress S that is really 10mm thick and get a KTS that is really 10.3 you might notice the KTS is a little stiffer or more of a med feel but most of the time they are really close to each other. The Xiom is also right there with KTS. i would get the one you can get the best deal on.
