My black sriver el that i've been using for 3 months w/o glue, 7, 8 hours a week is getting cloudy. Is cloudiness a sign of wear? How cloudy should I allow it to get before it's worn out. It's on my fh, and I loop only, rarely hit. My worry is that the center area will get slightly worn out faster, that when i hit outside of that area, it will be inconsitent with what I'm used to.

Yes it sounds like it's starting to wear out. Try a good cleaner or spinmax to see if it helps.
