i'm playing with it now and though it's light, it's definitely faster and spinnier than innova ultra-light, which i used to play with before.

Hi TTman,
After experimenting with half the rubbers on earth in the last year, I ordered Rosnet Air and Hammond Alpha Pro. They are both low throw but the Hammond is faster. I have stuck with the Rosnet air for two months now. I tried gluing but find the spin and speed Just right without it.
The Hammond plays just like it but faster. I kept track of my consistancy and the Rosnet is much better for me. Seems like everything goes on the table.
I can loop anything that clears the end of the table. One of the things I like is it has touch on slow spinny balls as the rubber doesnt grab like sticky rubbers but the harder you hit, the more spin you get, Mechanical spin vs tacky spin.
Sometimes I practice with the Hammond and then use the Rosnet. The Hammond is feeling better all the time but until my consistancy goes up with it I will use the Rosnet in competition.
I have beaten several 1800+ players that I could not touch before the Rosnet.
The low throw REALLY helped with the counter hitting and smashes dont go long.
I think you give up a little on serves verses the tacky rubbers but I still have some GOOD serves.
I use Max thickness. on everything with Rosnet on forehand and backhand.   Hammond is the only thing I can compare to it with Hammond being 15% faster. I am using a carbon/ary bat, Off+.  Tempted to try the Hammond on an Off- and see what it is like.
I play 3 times a week and one tournement in the last two months and the rubber is still playing good. Seems real durable.  Won the tournement, Senior singles from the guy that won the last 3 years
Hope this info helps, Rosnet my fav rubber now!

y'know, i never even noticed that until you mentioned it.  anyway, i can't give as strong a recommendation as hookshot above cuz i've only been playing with it for a coupla wks. and i haven't gotten used to it yet, but the comparison to hammond pro alpha appears to be a good one.

Hi ttman,
No, I'm not Jerry Mintz. He is in NY and I'm in Idaho. I came from NY 40 years ago. Used to see Reissman, Seemiller, solshiff and many others. It was a different game then. Mark 5 ruled.  (and Hock hard bats )
The sponge on the Rosnet Air is greenish.
     Have a good day!
                               Jerry
