I am currently using KLH special. However, my coach told me that this blade has no feel and no dwell time. Thus hard for me to serve very spinny and also loop/push with spin.

Thinking of changing to either nittaku violin or Yasaka extra 3d SC. What would you recommend? Thanks.

Does your coach hit hard enough? Do you hit hard enough? If not then get a 5-ply wood like the YE, the Violin is extremely expensive so only get it if you love the old wood blades by the Swedes and Chinese.

TT_Freak,

Why do you asked whether we hit hard enough? Actually I quite like KLH Special but my coach said this blade does not have any feel. Not good for service, for short placement and service return.

What about comparing this KLH Special with Yasaka Extra 3D Soft Carbon? However, scare soft carbon is also something like Arylate Carbon of KLHS and thus same issue again.

Sorry I have a hard time believing changing blades will make your services and pushes spinnier.

Totally agree. Serves and pushes is all about rubbers.

BTW. If blades can really make those shots spinnier, KLH Special is one of the best.

If hit hard enough a carbon blade has plenty of dwell time, same goes for touch. Placing short with my nephew's stupid fast carbon premade isn't any harder than with my violin, rather it is only the feel that is bad. If you aren't getting enough spin then it isn't likely that its the blade's fault, maybe you should switch to a slower rubber that has a grippier/tackier topsheet.

try klhs with harder rubber, quote 'Not good for service, for short placement and service return'. i believe your current rubber is too bouncy...maybe dhs h3 or tsp 730-21/summit could help improve your feel and ball placement...btw klhs is a very good blade...

In general Arylate Carbon (like KLHS) has less feel compared to all wood or carbon. If you don't like the feel, then it is advisable to change the blade.
