I have a vintage Hock paddle and would appreciate any information about it so I can sell it. A hock paddle on eBay recently sold for $750!

I recently resurfaced foud Hocks from the 60s. That one looks like the five ply with a little smaller head. My guess is that one may not be as in demand as the classic 3-ply oversized

I have posted some more photos. It is about 6.25w by 7 h. I was thinking it was 3 ply but maybe I am wrong Smile

you might be right as I look at the plies closer. The ones I did you could much more easily read the lettering on the bottom

I also noticed some separation between the handle and the core. If it goes through to the top somebody may want to pop the handle and reglue. If not maybe work a little glue in around the bottom there

Thank you for that information. I am also trying to get a rough estimate of how much this paddle might be worth. A Hock paddle recently sold on eBay for $750. and 115, so some are worth quite a bit.

I have no idea on that one.  Maybe it was used by a famous player or something

I am trying to figure out what the "8" on the bottom of stamp refers to if you happen to know-- it would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking the ones I saw were marked as ounces but they were like three and a half and four and a half or something like that

I actually wouldn't do anything to the blade. I'd let whoever bought it worry about it. You can see a lot of Separation on the handle from the side view but it may have been popped off already and reglued based on what I'm seeing there
