Dear friend I'm a joo se hyuk fan; I read from butterfly that he was using feint long II 1,3mm on backhand but watching his videos in the world cup, I saw that he was playing with a black pimple-in rubber with a white little sponge.

maybe an antitop? what do u think about?

I agree, lucioping. In fact, I posted something like this earlier. Go to http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1140&TPN=1 and scroll down to a bit past the middle of the page. The paragraph starts "And TRexxx,". I got that info from a friend.

you might have seen him when he was serving with his backhand, he uses his inverted side then and twiddles the bat back to pimples on backhand after he serves.

I have used Tackiness C and it is a very good rubber to serve and I am yet to see Joo Se serve with black side. For fun I have made and used a racket with Feint Long II on backhand and for sure it is terrible to serve with it.

PLEASE LOOK at JooSeHyuk-PatrickChila match video in the 47th Team Wttc; at the beginning it is very clear that his black bachand rubber is an inverted and not a long pimpled. I watch also last Joo videos in the world cup and it is the same inverted rubber with little white sponge.

Someone knows which is that rubber? Maybe an antispin but sure not a long pimpled. Please LOOK at the videos don't answer that is a long pimpled because it is not. thanks Patmandidily.

Well... I am a super Joo's fan too.

I believe he is using Feint Long 2..., but after reading these posts, I am no longer sure if my news is correct.

I really want to know the truth... Hope that someone can tell me!

I know the Super Anti from Butterfly has white sponge. That's probably what he's using, as Butterfly is prodiving almost everything for him right now - blade, rubber, shoes, some clothes. Hope this helps

It is impossible for Joo to be using anti loop as you cannot create the amount of backspin with anti, only real float variations!!!

I train with england's top players and they confirm that he use's long feint 2 or tsp curl p1r and that anti is never been used for many years now!!

Also the chines at the worlds 2003 confirmed it was long pips as they wasnt used to the amount of backspin produced and that they were to start train with them and leve the short pips alone!!!

He used long pips in paris; but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look at JooSeHyuk-PatrickChila videos in the 47th Team; in the first 10 second of the video it is clear that he does'n t have a long pips but an inverted with small white sponge.

I looked also at world cup videos and He used the same black inverted rubber with white sponge. His chops weren't so heavy like in Paris, in fact in the world cup 2004, Kreanga and Ma Lin won without sending 1 topspin in the net.

Hi!

Do you know (can you find out) which rubber is used by Carl Prean on his backhand-side at the moment? I think he used Friendship 837 and Donic Sting for a while but what does he use now?

Thanks in advance!

Antispin is also really good to chop with. It doens't create as much spin as long pips, probably only 70% what Feint 2 gets. This could be why Ma Lin and a bunch of other pros popped up his first few chops. Also, antispin is slower and easier to control than long pips, so it is a good alternative. This may help Joo be more consistent.
