I looked at Korea Against World videos joo-kreanga and joo-schlager and it is clear that he is not using the same black rubber he used in the world cup, the chopped ball is lower and more dangerous than in the world cup.

maybe he used feint long III ? the blade handle seems to be like the new butterfly joo se hyuk blade.

I saw that video and its feint! pips do not show up on TV. they look just like regular rubbers. If you watch when one hits the ground its had tremendous backspin. its also rummored that he uses the 1.1 and 1.5 sponge variation.

He uses max thickness sponge on Feint Long 3. I don't know what max is though, probably 1.6?
Peace out.

I looked also at world cup videos and He used the same black inverted rubber with white sponge. His chops weren't so heavy like in Paris, in fact in the world cup 2004, Kreanga and Ma Lin won without sending 1 topspin in the net.

give us the link to this video so we can see it!

I just watched the Preen/Appelgren match & it's totally amazing.

I've never seen someone play LP's like that- trying hard to make shots from both sides look the same, and twiddling at will.

Some of the twiddles lost Carl points, but many drew sweet errors.  I had to stop/start/rewind to keep track of which side the nasty red rubber was facing at the beginning and end of points.

Thanks for the link
