Someone know good medium pimples and where to buy it?

I use extra long, it is good to offensive blocks and mini-drives near the table. Someone know other medium pimples similar? I use it to made some chops too far the table. But i need other medium pimples out to block offensive at backhand like wang tao.

Most medium pimpled rubbers are sold with a thicker sponge than 0.5mm, because medium pimpls are more for offensive oriented styles. This will make them harder to control on chops.

There are probably more option in long pimpled rubbers. I have not tried the tibhar pimples, so I don't know what they're similar to. Some decent and cheap medium pimples rubbers are:

Friendship 563 - not that grippy, best for hitting/blocking

Globe 888 - soft and grippy pimples on a soft sponge, one of the slower medium pimples that might be pretty good to chop with.

Dawei 388C-1 - soft and grippy pimples, good for htting and generating some spin, fairly fast.

Nittaku Pimplemini

By far the most deceptive medium pips I've used. The are spaced out like long pips are the same small diameter as long pips but a little longer than short pips. Blocks like a dream. Chops much better than "regular" medium pips. They hit well but do not produce much spin.

I made a custom sheet with RITC Magic Red Sponge 2.2mm and the Pimplemin One OX topsheet. This is the best hitting / block pip I've used.

You can get a sheet at paddlepalace.com and the MRS sponge at zeropong.com

the best one i've tried is 563-1 on a 1.8 sponge. mind you, i've only tried a few different medium pips and i'm by far not an expert on them. 563 is pretty good too, less wobble and randomness but you can control the way it behaves more, so if you know what you are doing, its something like, more deception for opponent, but less deception for you, if you know what i mean.

There's also the Armstrong Rosin, which is between a short and a half long pimpled rubber. It's faster than a real half long rubber, and more deceptive in blocks than a short pips rubber.
