I think the clan will grow more now.  OSP has 2 new blades in the works soon to be released (OFF and DEF), and several models are now available in C-pen.

Check it out....OSP BLADES

To whom refers the name "Martin"?

I think it's for Martin Palatinus who played some Pro Tours and other International competitions for Hungary.

Wow, the Martin is a sweet looking blade. The only problem is how to get one under 90 grams.

Would anyone know the composition of this blade Limba.....................

Nice though and I look forward to some reviews.

I'll take a guess, Koto?or Limba it's a weird cut-Limba-Koto-Ayous-Koto-Limba-Koto or Limba, I'd need to see the blade up close to be sure but it really looks to have a lot of Koto in it

bluebucket there are some nice close up pictures of this blade on OSP website.. There is one that I really like with the tool and measuring caliper and some wood and veneer. I had to save that one to my screen page.

Yeah I see, it looks too grainy to be limba on all those layers. Hard to say for sure, the only thing for sure it's a good looking blade

Mind if i join? I just got my ultimate and have been using a clipper cr before hand. I must say that the feel is really different. You can feel a crisp vibration on topspins and it's like the blade actually grabs the ball and spins it for you. Not quite as fast as the clipper cr but i think it has more top end power.

Some pics for those that care!

I would prefer longer, DHS-headed cpens rather than Euro-shaped OSP heads. And the handles are too narrow.

hai rich thanks for sharing your experience with me. The virtuoso is a fantastic blade but i am getting an expert instead for speed reasons. i miss too much shots in the fast game, i hope the expert will give me more stability. Have you played the expert, if so can you share me youre experience?what kind of rubbers did you use and what is your playing style?
thx, mepper.

mepper......Expert is little slower than the Virtuoso- and the expert has a little higher throw angle.  I used Razka soft 2.0 both side on each blade.  Although, the Expert did play well with regular Rakza 2.0 on it I must say.  I had OPS make both the Expert and Virtuoso's  in their L size head.  The normal Expert is slightly larger which should give greater control.

I am drooling over the new Martin Blade.  I am trying to slow down on my setup, but this is the blade I must have, even if it's too fast Smile.

I've just noticed my one-year anniversary with the Virtuoso. Only shortly interrupted by trying out the Expert. Meanwhile I own three Virtuosos: 1x S-size and two L-size, all with ELcon handle. My latest is one with a slightly costumized handle.

Yes, the width is 2mm wider than standard. 32mm instead of 30mm. Height is as standard (27.3mm).

Here is my ticket to the clan Smile.

I only play for about 1 hr. with it.  Compare to my HK 655, it is a little softer, but stiffer feel.  Short game feels more control, as it is a little slower than the HK.  I did not play well with it, I must say, as I am not yet feel comfortable with it, most of my FH loops went long during game.  IDK, but it seems to hold on the ball a little longer then the HK and gives a longer throw than I am accustomed to.
EDIT: It's L size.
