Subject: H3-50 OR H8 for bh??

As you see in title I would like to try on my custom tamca 5000, a slow rubber as Hurricane 3-50 or hurricane 8 (slower in comparison with japanese rubbers), because I am used to slower blades and I cannot play with it. I decided to put a H 3-50 on fh and I want to see which of these two (3-50 or 8) would be ideal for bh?!

Please suggestions from people who have already played with these 2 rubbers in bh!

I would not recommend any of those for your BH as they're relatively hard and the Tamca5000 ususally feels hard as well, so unless your BH strokes are spot on, the combination will give you a hard time adjusting to. Maybe some classic like Yasaka Mark V will suit you better.

3-50 is better for backhand and 8 is better for forehand.

I would pick TG3-60 for BH over the two. But my favourite DHS is TG5 for both FH and BH.

3-50 could be a good bh rubber if you like typically softer rubbers, its a VERY soft sponge on a hard top sheet. quite slow mind.

To say H3-50 is slow is rather a false statement. Slow compared to what? Yes it may be slower to a certain rubber but your overall idea is that it conjures up a rubber that is dead slow like anti.

It is a medium speed tacky, soft sponge rubber that is more suitable to BH.

H3-50 + H8 or H3-50 = very heavy setup
S3-60 is a good option on backhand because it is lighter and a bit faster.
