Hello i want to ask if the Harimoto InnerForce ALC is worth the money ?

I played the Butterfly Innerforce Layer Alc for a long time, but i think it played to death and i did not get to much feedback from the blade and i don't like the feeling, it is a super blade, i won agains good opponents but it didn't make us much fun and the throw/catapult was a little low, do you think the harimoto plays exactly the same ?

thank you very much

harimoto alc is slower and more feel. but you will always have this dull feeling of an alc + limba.

It's the same blade with a slightly larger head and different wings.   That being said Harimoto has more feedback and is more flexible. It also feels slower on direct shots but loops better.  It's going to be like Timo Boll ALC vs Viscaria.

according to Butterfly Harimoto is as fast as IF ZLC. Just a little bit with more feel. More by 2 mm LOL

Harimoto, for me, has much higher arc when looping. I play with it at the moment and I think I will keep it for my first choice when playing matches!

for me both suck, I hate the feel of slow and this sort of empty box feel sound... if u want ALC go for Viscaria/TBalc

Agree with this. The difference will be felt more with a heavier vs lighter blade, but if we compare specimen weight to specimen weight, the Harimoto ALC will feel slightly faster and dwellier when looping, while the IF ALC will feel marginally more solid for blocking.

This is probably an overly simplistic way of looking at it. If all your shots are half-hearted, then it will probably feel slow and hollow. But if you're combining a game of deft touch at the table followed by good bat speed when attacking, then it really is a very good blade.

I should add that I've got a Harimoto ALC for sale in the FS section. I don't loop quite enough to make the most of its power. If anyone's interested, please PM.

I traded a Harimoto for another blade but didn't like that much. Although the weight is nearly the same as my Innerforce ZLC and the speed is quite similar, I struggle after long session because of muscle fatigue. That bit added weight on the rubbers and on the shape of the blade performs in a less aerodynamic way because it drags the air worse that a more compact blade such as other Innerforce. Recoverys from explosive shots are also slower and more tiring that my compact blade.

Avoid any Butterfly stuff... at abusive prices. Raw power without control means nothing

Golly gee: Does the Primorac Carbon really have that much vibration?

Thanks.

Get a OSP Virtuoso AC blade (S, M, L)

The feel is great man, hands down (no pun)

Played with ALC blades after 3 years of wood. Then when I injured my hand it brought me to ZLC/ZLF but it lacked spin
(IMO ALC spinnier than ZLF/ZLC)

The OSP blade was advertised as retaining the feel/control of their wooden blade w. an added top end gear

But I suspect it may be the larger size of my blade (LARGE 159) that’s giving me extra feel and flex

If you’re a butterfly fanboy then the Harimoto may give you the added feel/flex compared to the IF ALC as someone mentioned

OSP Virtuoso AC  is a great blade.  They are similar blades with the Virtuoso having a more woody feeling and flex  while the Harimoto is a little faster and has a more crisp feel on harder impacts. The handles are also very different. The Harimoto is the typical smallish Buterfly flare while the OSP has a much lager flare like a European blade.
