Last year there was VW Women World Cup in KL and one guy bought one of those table being used in that championship. I have been playing using normal tables from Challenger, Butterfly and Tibhar. However, this DH table that was used in international tournaments is very different. It's thicker with lots of friction on the table. However, it seems slower. Thus it will be easier to serve short and even curve as lots of friction. Shouldn't there be just one standard for tables? Honestly if you are not used to play this kind of table, you will lose very badly. Your fast serve suddenly slowed down. Your normal short serve suddenly dont get pass the net. Opponent "long" service suddenly bounced twice on your side and because of the friction, their drive/loop just have very low arc on your side of table. |
