The commentator said Chen Qi hadn't warmed up before play.
That's why his hands are cold  in the first set!

I agree with the fact that a chinese junior can beat a senior, but a senior of the class of Wang Liqin? The truth is that the members of national team lie Wang, Ma, Hao, and the others who have frequent precence at the world class events, do not have at the  Chinese Championshios their top form. Is easy to beat there anybody from the good, consider how many defeats for the members of national team. Only Ma Lin survives because he has great serves and plays very clever as allways.

who are you to claim they lie, the whole team would laugh at you even the janitor because if you are about to claim somethin u must be important

if ma lin cant win leading 7-1 then his serves are s*hit, ma lin clever and bush is a saint

2004 choked  ( count on me to spank ma for losing to waldner)

2005 choked

2007 choked

clever?

Because Hao Shuai did not allow him to play his strong game.  Shuai kicked his a$$.

Hao Shuai's strategy against Wang Hao seems to be most reasonable. Attack his forehand. That Hao Shuai is a left-hander makes it easier to do that.

Watching Ma long losing 4 times out of 5 against Wang Hao pisses me off. I know Wang H isn't ranked n1 by mistake, he's a great great player and the way he won this time again is anything but odd. That said I find Ma Long to have much more skills than Wang H. He has a very complete range of stroke, doesn't make much mistake, has no weakness. Last losses were mostly due to lucky points at crucial mmnts, this time it looks like Ml resigned after first set that he wan in a very agressively manner. C'mon Ma long the march shall go on...

The main difference between the two players is that Wang Hao has more experience and hits the ball at a decent spot most of the time. I am not even talking about Wang Hao's rbh in which it makes his opponent loses track in the end.

I like Ma Long and Wang Hao. Whoever wins is a good game to watch. Give Ma Long another 2 years and he'll be the next hero up to the 2nd or 1st seat.

Compared to Wang Hao's BH, Ma Long has a long way to go.
