official brackets in the link below:

http://www.ittf.com/competitions/matches_per_round.asp?competition_ID=1625&rnd=128&s_Event_Type=MS

in those brackets it does say that
 63   RUBTSOV Igor RUS
 14:30 - 23/5/2007    -: T. B. A.

 64   WANG Hao CHN

 65   BOLL Timo GER
 14:30 - 23/5/2007    -: T. B. A.

 66   MONTEIRO Thiago BRA

but it seems weird that they should meet in 2nd round, so maybe they seed again for 2nd round or something.

incidentally, if the brackets are like that, then Maze and Primorac meet in 2nd round as well.

btw, does anyone have the time+date for all the rounds in GMT timezone?

no way!!  you're not reading that correctly!

wang hao is in ma lin's side of the draw and boll is in wlq's side of the draw.

so, the next match for wang hao (if he wins) will be against the winner of the match ABOVE him in the draw.

and the next match for boll (assuming he wins) will be against the winner of the match BELOW him in the draw.

so, wang will probably end up playing gionis and boll, paszy, next round.

Rustyfo was wrong.
Takaaki was right.

Wang Hao was seeded #4, he is in upper half of the draw.

Timo Boll was seeded #3, he is in bottom half of the draw.

From 1 to 64 is upper half.
From 65 to 128 is bottom half.

=====================

Takaaki: you are so right, why you lost your confidence of being RIGHT.
Takaaki:  You have no chance of being wrong.  YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

if wang and ma meet in the final wang will win, because wang will have a pschological advantage. this will be wangs 3rd world championship final, having won his two other ones, and this will be ma's 3rd final having lost his two other ones.

what i HOPE will happen is samsonov beating wang liqin 4-2 in the final. samsonov has been in the top 10 in the world for 10 years now, and hes not getting younger, he really deserves a world championship  title!

The next four seeds (from 5,6,7,8) are placed in

32 & 33
96 & 97

========

32 will not play 33 and 96 will not play 97 immediately.
They will play against one another later, if they both survive.

yeah, i also would love to see samsonov win one!!  he's another one in that "best players never to have won the big W" group!!

but, barring any upsets, he will end up playing ma lin the quarters and his prospects don't look good.  ma has pretty much had his number since he upset him back at the '99 Worlds (samsonov was no. 1 at that time).

Timo has a historical chance to reach final this year. All his fiercest oponents are in the upper half of the draw (Ma Lin, Ma Long, Wang Hao, Samsonov). He has WLQ who's his "favorite chinese big three", Chen qi and Hao shuai in his part are beatable for him. I feel for Timo : It's now or never...My cast for the final is Ma Long vs Timo Boll. Ma wins 17-15 in the 7th.

i dont think timo will be able to make the final, the wttc is just not a good tourney for him i dont even think hes ever made it to the quarters. but if by some chance he does make it in the final, if he is against ma lin he may win, but against wlq he doesnt stand much of a chance. it would be interesting to have a timo vs samsonov final! that would be a final to remember!

Does anyone know if there will be the web-cast with zimtv which ITTF promised some months ago?
Up today zimtv still doesn't have the Zagreb WTTC channel and even the others one seems to not working anymore.
