wow!  timo will probably meet matsudaira in the next round and possible his d-dorf teammate kishikawa in the round after that, provided he can get past cheung of HK.

Haven t seen ITTF world ranking for these players for two months in a row, how come?

January, 2010 world ranking was published, but no February and March world rankings.

no, not possible--look again!!  hao is at the top of the bottom half of the draw and timo is at the bottom of the top half which means they can t possibly meet until the final.

yeah that would be great to see. I hope Maze and Boll are 100% fit again and will go far, with home support Boll would have the best chance. Overall I would put Xu Xin and Ma Long as favourites.

Boll says he s only 70-80% fit - lost a few weeks because of his thigh injury, and just had a moderate cold too. Don t expect much from him.

Is the any other way to watch the German Open other than the ITTF website?  Is it on a certain channel that I can watch via sopcast?

Qual matches are almost over. Main bracket should be updated by the end of the day I guess.
