Either learn to relax and active block the balls on your BH, so they aren't lobbed up, when you're on defense.
Or learn to step over FH drive to your BH side, like a traditional pen holder.

Here's a youtube clip showing some options against loop: bh block, punch, and counter attack off the bounce http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORfCiNf8mWk&feature=relmfu
If your close to the table, bh block can be used against any attack, punch can be used for slow high arc loops, and counter attack anything but a kill shot from opponent, but you need confidence and good timing. If your counter looping away from the table fh to fh, the first person to switch lines and loop to the other's bh usually will get to smash lobs later. These types of rallies are rare though, especially at non pro level. If you back up to easily, then you will fish and lob more. Edited by gnome - 09/13/2012 at 4:31pm |
