How did you think about this blade??It too expensive, about USD300 include shipping to Malaysia. 10mm thickness and good 1-ply kiso hinoki.

Do you read chinese? because Akkadi forum in taiwan will be able to give you more information.

1984-1990, 1st generation 9mm, retail at NT1990. (cypress then was only NT1000)
2001, 2nd generation 10mm, retail NT5500.
2004, 3rd generation 10mm, pink strip gold wording, retail price at NT7500 back than.

The metal inpression suggested 2002,3 onwards.

The word is 1st generation was GREAT, 2nd and 3rd does not worth the money (one comment was same quality as normal cypress!!!).... don't know but at 300USD, I suggest getting a special order instead.

Sorry leeyong, I cant read chinese anymore but I can speak the chinese language....so how you know that quality...I'm curious....

My blade is the same shape as CPL but 10mm think and is black. No printing on the blade and no side tag.

I believe Platinum is more expensive than the Gold RSM.

From what I know, Ryu Seung Min is using Athena Platinum. This blade is very rare and hard to come by. It always out of stock. I try to order it a couple of month back asking a korean friend to help me but always out of stock.

Will try my luck again.

Thanks Stephen Chung, so could you tell me the feeling RSM Athena Platinum(if u have it before)....today I test it and it feel very soft. I feel thid blade is good combination with my DHS H3 Provicial Version.

the rsm platinum is not a soft feeling blade it is medium.It is not as fast as my kokutaku but about the same as my kim blade but it does have really good control especially closer to the table.I have omega 3 on it right now.this is actually my second favorite combo my first is my 10mm cypress s with bryce powersponge right now
