How do you make such a clean rubber cut??

Ally my rubbers are cut like this. I use a very sharp cutting blade for this and the result is clean. If it does leave any unevenness, I pare it with the blade and then put on edge tape. I never use blades without edge tape.

was reading thru this thread, and just wanted to say (off-topic) that the way the light partially goes thru the T64 topsheet and makes the foam/topsheet interface seem to glow... is simply BEAUTIFUL.

The whole setup is simplicity and top-level craftsmanship in one package.

It is a really expensive one. The wood of the blade is selected from >600 year old hinoki. And even the logo is made of gold.

Tight grain, eyes on both sides, uniform colour, no intrusion on the grains : that is the perfect single ply hinoki according to my definition.
