i dont understand why chn needs . kong, liu,li,qin coaching if there will be always a only male playing?? unless they need to scare the other team or need to make some noise?

There is a main China TT coach (for the entire federation), then there is a team coach for this specific event (usually Liu Guoliang), and sometimes there is an athlete's personal coach (the one among the team coaches who was specifically responsible for this guy)... they all sit there and make notes, and discuss whatever changes need to be done etc etc... sometimes that even helps!

When I was watching the Fukuoka match... is she using a PF4-32 blade??? that looks like old DHS blade, a bit surprised she is using something like that

maybe I dont understand the rules of the team format, but why is Japan playing this 143rd ranked girl vs. this huge Singapore man-beast in the first match?  certainly they have better players to use.

  i hope fixpoint is recording japan-singapore, the rallies are exciting and the girl ishikawa is so good that i doubt she s 100% japanese. the pic is clear, the sponge is blue
