Write to ahinoki (or go to http://www.americanhinoki.com) and ask him to make you a 10-mm thick Western Red Cedar blade! That'll be the last 1-ply you'll ever need!

See, the thing is, Joris has a damn awesome collection as is.

I just bought a sweet 10.5mm Rorin from him, but the little he has left consists of:
Cypress Max
Chang Peng-Lung
Kokutaku D40
TSP Dynam
Nittaku Excellence A (?)

Joris, I'd look into Darker Speed 90's, as that is one of the few bases you don't have covered.
JPen Jockey:
Nittaku Rorin 10.5mm (Andro Plasma 470 2.0mm)
Yasaka Musashi 9mm (Friendship Focus III)

I would recommend Kokutaku 10 mm, then followed by Speed 90. I am wondering what would be difference (in play) between Speed 90 and Speed 70.
Joris, if you buy the Speed 70, please post the pictures of the blade face and also from the topside to share the beauty of your blade. OK ?

Kokutaku Super Cho/Cho Super Cho Tokusen Bishu 1d100 10mm is 1 of those rare gems that even a non-jpener /expert (like me) should crave for. That being said...o..O...Skhnd players should not start a stampede to acquire one 4 themselves as that might drain the limited supplies dry/out. Big%20smile

Everest 81,

For your information, Kokutaku 10mm is not the same as Kokutaku Cho tokusen Bishyu D100 10mm.... I have a Kokutaku Cho Tokusen bought from another user in good condition.... the blade is very light.... but i have not tested it yet with tenergy.....

Mithrra is right.  Kokutaku currently has two 10mm Jpen on their catalog.

Chō Super Chōtokusen Bishū No 1D100 and
Bishū Super 10

When aeoliah says Kokutaku 10mm, he refers to the first one.
