Dear mytabletennis.net friends, I think that popularity of this Butterfly wood should be showed on this site, as I notice that many of you guys use this blade and that the popularity of this wood is grown from day to day. I used to have Michael Maze, but I got rid of it. So you should subtract one. LOL

XIOM Stradivarius would be more power and better comparing with Michael Maze. Even so, I would not say XIOM Strad is the great blade either since I am thinking about getting rid of it too

had 1 but sold it to a 12 yr old n regretted to have sold it as its An. handle is 1 of the most comfy handles out there n also I hardly used it eventho' i sold it for quite good price n the last thing i heard that kid dumped my MMaze n switched to KLHSP An.

Believe me, if you are a looper you will love this blade and never change it!
 
Also this blade is perfect weapon for new water based TT era. Everybody who likes 5 ply all wood blade and unfortunately must change it for something faster because of speed glue ban, would not wrong at all!

you are surtenly right for 5ply blades, but its a slow and too soft for the new TT era. Mizutani is good, but very expencive, and I think that is not good for its price. Also Mizutani during his best play played with Maze OFF and not with Mizutani ZL which is one of the most Butterfly marketing turns.

I wil never buy Mizutani because I have big hand, and Maze OFF ST has most comfortable handle I have ever see. I see and hear that Mizutani ZL has small handle like Xiom Stradivarius which I had and sold because of small handle reason!

we will have to see about that. many 5ply survie in the new 40mm ball era.  so you will never know what's going to happen.
 
Mizutani played with a special edition Maze, i have heard from some chinese forum that it plays different than the maze on the market.  Mizutani still plays very well,  and now he is playing against the big boys.
