Hurricane 3 has a harder sponge. If you like Hurricane series, try the softer H3 sponge. There are some members on this forum sells it.

not well in my opinion. i don't have stradivarius, but on my mizutani, the H3 doesn't work as good as on all wood blades.

yea i dont think H3 is good match for carbon blades, feels amazing on a clipper to me, all wood blades are a better match, i have heard some say that butterfly viscaria plays well with H3 and that is a carbon blade

I use H3pro both sides on my TimoBoll Spirit AN handle. Love it.

Most chinese players from mid amateur ~ professional players use all wood blades: EX: Stiga Clipper CR and uses H3 provincial #20 on the forehand and Sriver EL, FX, L or Bryce FX, Bryce on the BH. Players who are preparing for the VOC-Glue ban are using H3 provincial #21 on the forehand (black) and Sriver EL,FX, L or Bryce FX, Bryce on the BH. Glues used are usually Haifu Shark/Whale II/ or Dolphin for speed glue. For VOC ban players, they are using DHS #15 VOC-Free Glue and DHS#1 intensifier strips.

Before I sold my Strad, I used H3 Blue Sponge (CTE tuned) on my FH. It felt really nice.

i think he meant stradi is hard and h3 commercial is hard so it might be better to try h3 with softer sponge on the stradi...

Maybe TG2 provincial 37 hardness? Or H3 Pro #20 39 hardness? Or H3 Pro Blue #21 35 hardness?

What about after tuning like speaquinox has done? I still think H3 is a good rubber but it is hard.

Hi hut8, just tune the rubber(soften) and it will be fine. I have Xiom strad with sriver Max (tuned), playing very nicely. Cheers.

I think that will work unless he can get a softer sponge version.
