what are the differences between each blade?
does anyone know specifically? my first guess was the more expensive one would be faster or better materials used...? |

The ALC dimensions look the same as a Timo Boll Spirit, so it's possibly an updated TBS, with a new handle.
The W7 seems like it might be interesting too. |

I'm sure the new ALC blade is the same as the old model just a different look, and the 7 ply is the SK7 with a facelift as well. This is just a marketing ploy by BTY

Is not the same, because ALc is a 5 layers and TBS is 7 layers.

The new ALC and the TBS both say 5 layers on butterfly.co. The only difference seems to be that the ALC weighs 90 grams (according to butterfly.co) and the TBS weighs 93 grams, which is probably why timo boll uses it with tenergy.

dude, Timo Boll uses Sriver Kawatsuki before the ban, i had a sheet and it was even heavier than Tenergy. Pros don't care about weight.

He is probably just using it to make butterfly money anyway. I just wanted to show that both blades are listed as having 5 layers (although in reality 7 with the alc) and that they are practically identical with the exception of aesthetics and weight.

Yeah, I like the Tamca T5000 and W7. But I think I might end up with one and still don't know which one is the best. I have TBS so the ALC might be of interest too but I got to know more about the speed, control and the feel.
I've been playing with the Kreanga Powerspin. It is 7-wood and a hard feel so I hope the W7 would give me the same feel. $75 is not bad for an EJ like me :)
I don't think I want to try the ZLC and ZLF yet since in my level the W7 would be good enough.
And I love the handle design of this series. I've been looking for blades with nice handle and I think this series have both the nice design handle and the type of blade that I'm looking for. I believe that all of them will be in the OFF to OFF+.

210 USD for a TB ZLC!?!?! That is insane. You could almost buy 4 sheets of overpriced Tenergy 05 with that!

These prices for the new blades are getting ridiculous. And even the rubbers 2 are going to pass like 60 bucks per sheet pretty soon if they keep going the way they are.
These blades look beautiful and i would love to play with 1, but i just cant see myself spending over 150 on 1, especial if its not custom. |

So apparently you can order one of these CUSTOM. I wonder if that means you can modify slightly based on the blades overall design. Wow, that would be kind of cool.

OK, looks like someone from another forum has got his hands into two of these blades. I'm copying and pasting the photos posted from that forum. original link is in http://www.sundns.org/discuz/viewthread.php?tid=284071&extra=page%3D1.
